Owners, in-laws, sons, daughters, nieces, and nephews all take turns in the kitchen and dining room, all passing traditions and techniques on to younger generations. With numerous locations now bearing the Elizabeth's Pizza name, and the heart of the restaurant remains unchanged. The first Sanford location was opened in 1989. All locations are similar, but not the same; Elizabeth's Pizza is not a franchise, just a family.
